Preparing Your Hot Tub for Removal: A Quick Checklist
Simple steps Bakersfield homeowners can take before their scheduled hot tub removal appointment.
You don't have to do much to get ready for a hot tub removal, but a few simple steps can speed up the appointment and help avoid extra time on-site.
Before your appointment
- Drain the spa if you're able to (a garden hose siphon or sump pump works)
- Unplug or switch off the breaker for hardwired units
- Clear a path from the spa to the driveway or street of furniture, planters, or toys
- Remove and set aside any covers, steps, or accessories you want to keep
- Let us know about any tight gates, stairs, or slopes when you book
If you can't manage draining or disconnecting yourself, that's fine — just mention it when scheduling so your crew can plan the extra time.
